starting from the central node of the building at entrance level, “kitchen + play”, the living, office and sleeping areas develop as cantilevered or dug-in spatial loops into the depth of the plot.
all parts of the spatial loops merge into one another and relate directly to the node. through this spatial structure, the outdoor space is led along each loop to the centre. the “kitchen + play” node itself expresses its connecting function through a kitchen unit spanning several floors, relating to the different areas of use
the vertical stacking of functions also leads to extremely economical “building coverage”; only 46 m² of the plot cannot be used as open space.
