a family with one child, perhaps more to come, wants to move from a city-centre flat to the green outskirts. in their dream, children play on the meadow, the parents sit with friends among them, and all around there is nothing but garden, trees and open nature. the plot they bought is about 500 m², covered with trees and meadow.

a total of 300 m² of living space is to be created on 3 floors above ground and one below.

to preserve the character of the undeveloped garden, the living and dining area on the ground floor and the garden are united in one large sweeping movement. this creates, in terms of atmosphere, a 500 m² living room of open space and interior areas. the sweep continues at the scale of living, with sunken seating, curved built-in furniture, and round pool and terrace shapes.

the sweeping movement on the ground floor is made of semi-transparent polycarbonate elements. the ephemeral character of the material is also used as the façade of the upper floor, which is thus perceived as an airy, floating sweep.

above, on the roof, a planted landscape of office hills puts back the piece of garden taken away by the ground floor.

a green landscape on several levels, with ephemeral spatial sweeps in between.
